Lark Adventurewear: SS18 - Current

I have been a design consultant for children's apparel company Lark Adventurewear since 2018. I work closely with the founder, Pallavi, to design prints, choose colors, and determine the assortment of piecetypes for each season. We strive to design clothing that is comfortable and functional, but also vibrant and fun. We also try to provide parents with many gender-neutral color options within each assortment.

In 2021 I did the print & color design for the “Summer Sunrise” swimwear collaboration between Lark Adventurewear and BonBon Swim. I created a print that worked with both brands’ aesthetics, was gender neutral, and had a fun summery vibe. This limited edition collection features 4 styles - ruffle one piece, board shorts, and 2 styles of rash guards - all in a soft UPF 50+ fabric.

All other Lark Adventurewear clothing is made from a proprietary bamboo Softek knit jersey fabric with unique moisture-wicking properties and UV protection. The Sweats collection is made with a proprietary bamboo blend french terry. I design all prints and create all apparel tech specs in Adobe Illustrator.
